A Pic So Nice I Used It Twice...
I am so glad that Mom was a shutterbug. She always had a camera in one hand so that she could capture every precious moment on film. Now that she is gone I have become the resident shutterbug.
Since This Site Is All About Me...

I will tell you about my new favorite vacation...cruise ships!  I recently went on Carnival Cruiselines for my honeymoon and it was great. We left out of Miami and went to San Juan, Puerto Rico and St Thomas and St Marteen in the Virgin Islands.  Absolute paradise....if you have never taken a cruise, take one.  If you have taken a cruise before...go on another!

Some Of My Favorite Memories Of My Mom...
We loved to cook things and watch TV together. We would watch Y&R and B&B, any court show and The Price Is Right. We loved to walk out in the yard and talk. One spot in my parent's yard is right by a grove of poplar trees. Me and Mom loved to stop and listen to the sound of the wind blowing in the tree tops. Now that she is gone, I think of her when I hear the wind blowing in the poplar trees. We also looked forward to springtime when the peonies that surround Dad and Mom's house would bloom. The smell and sight of peonies is breathtaking. It is also a very sentimental thing. The peonies that surround the house are plants that my great-great grandma and great-grandma had grown. We transplanted them here. There are no other flowers that can compare to them.

I Would Love To Hear What You Have To Say!

Some Other Various Favorite Memories...
Brad and I would ride around in his Ford EXP sportscar and listen to pop, rock and country music, talk and go to the mall and hang out. I love to talk to my Dad and listen as he tells stories about when he was growing up. I love to listen to my Dad's infectious laughter as he watches Looney Toon cartoons for the billionth time and still laughs like it was his first time seeing them. When fall rolls around it just brings up all kinds of memories I have with my Dad and Mom. Along the east edge of my parent's property are some persimmon trees. There were so many persimmons that we were down on hands and knees picking them up and putting them in a bucket. Then I got the job of making them into pulp. It was a messy job but it was alot of fun. Also growing up we would can vegetables, homemade tomato ketchup, jelly and beet relish. It is things like that that make life great. The simple things. I think people need to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life because all too soon they are gone.

Another Pic That Is So Nice That It Had To Be Used Twice...
this pic makes me so proud of my hometown. It is a beautiful city with beautiful countryside around it. A great place to live.

Back Porch Memories...
This is a picture of the back porch on my parents' house. Some of my favorite memories are of sitting on the back porch with Dad and Mom on a hot summer evening watching the sun set. We would talk and tell stories and laugh until well after dark. Sometimes Scott and his family (who live a few feet away) would join us. Those memories are so precious to me.
